Mickey Thomas and a chicken curry!

WREXHAM Supporters Trust know just how highly Wrexham fans value the clubs past stars.
Indeed, our President Arfon Griffiths is just one of the many Wrexham legends whose names have been added to our cause. Whether its a swift pint with Gary Bennett at this pub or a chance to quiz the latest Wrexham players, WST has always tried to bring Wrexhams great and good to our fundraisers and meetings.
Its heartening to see how many former stars of the club hold Wrexham in such esteem theyre willing to join in, and we owe a great deal of thanks to our latest guest Mickey Thomas.

After the Shrewsbury home game on Sunday February 25, he'll be spending an afternoon at the Wrexham Lager Club discussing his footballing career, especially his time at Wrexham, and also his views on the current state of play at the Racecourse.
All proceeds going to the Wrexham Supporters Trust.
Tickets for the event, which starts at 2.30pm, will cost £10 (with curry and rice included), and they are available from the Trust Shop on Mold Road, before and after the Chester home game; The Club Shop during the week; and by e-mailing This email address is being protected from spambots. In other fundraising news a programme fair is being held at the Maesgwyn Hall on Mold Road on April 15 to raise funds too.
Doors will open at 11am and entry is £1 with free entry to a prize draw.
Weve already received many donations for sale on the day,  and many thanks to everyone that has contributed so far.
We already have many Wrexham, Chester and Shrewsbury programmes dating back to the 1950s. We also have many complete seasons for Wrexham home matches. Add to this, lots of Premiership, FA Cup, European and Welsh international matches and there should be something there for everyone.
If anyone would like to contribute some programmes for sale on the day, they can be dropped off at the club shop during the week, or please contact us at This email address is being protected from spambots. For any further details on the event please contact Bryan Still on 07886524804.
Dont forget the Chester derby this weekend is ticket only and starts at noon.  Backing the boys is vital for this, and every Wrexham game.
