Andy Fleming accepting awardWe are pleased to announce that the winner of the Wrexham Supporters Trust Player of the Season for 2009/10 was Andy Fleming.

The trophy was presented to Andy at the Turf Hotel on 14th May, and was presented to Andy by Trust member Kevin Wynne,, known to many on the Red Passion web site as ‹Å“Prodigal Dragon

The Board of the Supporters Trust this year felt that the Extra Mile award, which is presented to a Trust member who the Board feel has done something above the ‹Å“call of duty associated with being a member of the Trust and a fan of the club should go to Toby Clark.

The Board unanimously voted that Toby be the winner of the award for his huge contribution in organizing the petition for saving the Racecourse to be included in the Local Development Plan (LDP), and canvassing on Red Passion for over 10,000 signatures, which at the time of writing he has almost achieved.

Toby, who is the son of former Wrexham FC director, Bob Clark, said on his award: It comes as a very pleasant surprise and I am really humbled and honoured to have been given this award by the Wrexham Supporters Trust. Thank you very much and please do pass on my thanks and gratitude to the board.

It is a really nice feeling to have been involved in something so worthwhile, and I will be delighted as many others, to see the Racecourse secured by the Local government for future generations.

Well done Toby, and thank you for your efforts in achieving this aim.
