Enjoying the exprience of being Directors for the Day of the Club they co-own for the home game against Nuneaton, were Shropshire Reds and WST members John Griffet and Andy Faulks.

John and Andy were hosted by WST Board member, Robin Wiggs. They enjoyed the hospitality of the Boardroom, mingling with other Club directors and their guests - including Marion Wilkin, before watching a great three-nil win over our opponents. After the game they joined the team in Bamfords to watch Dean Keates presented the Man of the Match award.

Afterwards, John, who has been watching Wrexham since the 1970s, said "It was a great afternoon. I wasn't too sure about taking the offer up when my name came out of the hat, but I'm glad I did. It was so nice to have the chance to see behind the scenes, and meeting the other directors was great. It was nice to have a chat with most of them, and the win by the team just topped off a brilliant day".

Robin added "We were delighted to have co-owners John and Andy in the Boardroom, as part of our Directors for the Day initiative. They are both longstanding Shropshire Reds and Wrexham fans, and many will also know Andy for his stalwart support of the Club as he owns Stans Superstore in St Martins. John's biggest worry for the afternoon was making sure he got his ticket for the Chester game after the match. He emailed afterwards to say he managed to get to the shop just before it closed on Saturday!"
