At five o'clock this evening, we were approached by the FA with a request from S4C to show our FA Cup game on Sunday, 9 November with a 2.00pm kick-off.
As the away team Woking were happy to agree to this request, but as we are hosting the match, it becomes more complicated in getting arrangements put in place with all people required to stage a game.
The manager is always the most important person in these considerations and after him we have to approach a number of people from stewards to caterers, and Police to St John's.
Following some lengthy talks with as many parties as could be raised in the time available, it has been agreed to switch the tie to the Sunday.
In turn, we will also approach the Football Conference about delaying our midweek league visit to Woking by 24 hours, to the Wednesday night (12 Nov).
Should a replay be required, then that will also be on a Wednesday evening, 19 Nov 7.45pm – as Woking have a game at FC Halifax Town on the previous Sunday.
Admission prices will be the same as the qualifying round game with Macclesfield Town and would be repeated for a replay at Kingfield:
£15.00 - Adults
£10.00 - Over 62s / Under 21s
£3.00 - Over 80s / Under 16s
All three stands at the Racecourse will be available for this game.
Although tickets are not required for this tie, further details about buying unreserved seating tickets for Children, Carers, etc, will be released shortly.
This would allow children to enter the ground through the same turnstiles as their parents.
All other supporters can just pay cash at the turnstiles, as against Macclesfield Town. With Season Ticket seats reserved for the use of Season Ticket holders, on production of their cards.
Executive and Hospitality deals will also be announced shortly.
