Father and son and long standing Wrexham fans Clive and Howie Austin were selected as the Directors of the Day at the recent match against Aldershot. Both had played a part in the 150th anniversary match against Grimsby as Clive had been randomly selected to unveil the plaque on the Turf whilst Howie spent a wet afternoon entertaining the crowd as a member of the world famous Fron choir.
Clive and Howie are pictured with Jason Berney a member of the Shots Trust Board who had made the long drive to the Racecourse from his Sussex home. Although Clive and Howie enjoyed the game more than Jason did all three had an enjoyable day hosted by Trust secretary Alan Fox.
Clive said "It was good to see another side to the club which goes on during a match day" and acknowledged the "good work done by the Trust and everyone behind the scenes".
