This afternoon the paperwork was processed and accepted by both the Football Conference and Football Association of Wales, to allow goalkeeper Jonathan Flatt to remain at the Racecourse for another few weeks.
The Wolves U21 stopper has proved a big hit since coming in to cover for the injured Andy Coughlin and Dan Bachmann.
Allowing the pair extra time to recover from the respective injuries. Dan has made one appearance after coming back from knee ligament issues, while Andy is close to getting the go ahead to play again after breaking couple of bones in his hand.
With the busy festive period now with us and the FA Cup looming large, for which Dan is ineligible, the need for Jon to stay for an extended period was highlighted.
"I've really enjoyed my spell at Wrexham," said the Wolves-born keeper.
"The rest of the lads have welcomed me into the squad and it's been fun playing first team football.
"Dan is getting close to full fitness again, but I was more than happy to stay with the club and help during the Christmas period."
His extension will take him up to 4 January.
