York goal 1 Dartford 02 43The club is delighted to announce that Wes York is the latest player to extend his contract with the club into next season.

He joined the Dragons from Nuneaton Town last summer and announced his arrival with two goals on his debut at Dartford in the opening match of the season.

Wes has since gone onto appear in 47 games so far this season and fired in eight goals.

He was spotted playing locally by manager Kevin Wilkin, when he was in charge at Liberty Way, and Wes joined Louis Moult in following his gaffer to the Racecourse.

“Buzzing to get over and done with, and now crack on hope to finish strong this year,” said the winger.

York goal 1 Dartford 01 43“It’s been the best year I’ve had in football. Performance wise I need to be a little more consistent, but now I’ve started to settle in, it feels like home.

“This club is far too big to be sitting in the Conference, we need to push on and get back to where it belongs.

“Winning the trophy is the least we can do for the fans, as they have not enjoyed the best of times recently and us that as a platform to push on.”

Wes York is the latest addition to the 2015/16 season squad. Look out early next week for more news of our next exciting signing!
