Tomorrow #FlagDay will be here.

Two weeks since our last home fixture, Saturday’s #FlagDay match against Macclesfield Town is the Red Army’s last opportunity to see the team at the Racecourse before Christmas.

A few reminders about #FlagDay:

  • We have Stilt Walkers, Fire Eaters

  • We will introduce our new 4m by 4m goal celebration flags

  • We now have over 2,000 flags that we will give away free at the match!

Flags will be distributed on a first come, first served basis on each side of the ground to Wrexham Fans who are attending the game. However make sure you bring your flags old and new into the stand with you so we can completely fill the ground with colour. We have been receiving messages from all over the country about the flags people are bringing and what memories they invoke so make sure yours gets an ‘outing’ for the game.

Remember if you are bringing a ‘really big flag’ we ask that these go on the KOP and need to be with stewards as early as possible before kick off and no later than 2:30pm to avoid disappointment. Remember advertising boards is a great source of income for the club so please avoid covering the boards of our sponsors!

If you don’t have a flag then please bring a scarf or purchase one from the club shop prior to kick off as these will be just a useful on the day!

Why is #FlagDay SO important?

  1. We want to transform the Racecourse into an army of red as we march towards the goal of promotion

  2. To fund capacity expansion in the Glyndwr University Stand [GUS], adding another 1,000 seats available to us for big games coming up through the season

What can you do to get behind #FlagDay?

  • Help us make this a MUST NOT MISS game

  • Bring family, friends and colleagues to the match as we aim to fill the stadium

  • Use #FlagDay everywhere on social media & get everyone talking about it

  • Plan for this to be the game you travel to, if you live away from the area

  • Encourage every fan to bring a flag or scarf to the game

Whilst this game is NOT all ticket, the easiest way to reserve your seat is to save money by purchasing your ticket in advance online from the comfort of your own home via

Bring your flag, your voice and your colours as the red army is on the march.

  • However, please note: the Mold Road Stand will, as for the entire season, be entrance by TICKET ONLY (no cash will be accepted at the turnstiles for this stand). Tickets for this stand can be obtained in advance either via the online shop or the Club Shop at the rear of the Yale stand, or purchased on the day from the Club shop or the WST Shop on Mold Road, but must be purchased prior to entry.
