Bookings are progressing well for the annual Wrexham Player of the season awards - most tables are now reserved, but there is still some availability. This superb event is organised by the Supporters Trust in conjunction with all of the supporters groups and has proved extremely popular in recent years. The event will be held at the Lion Quays hotel on Sunday 6th May. It starts with an excellent 3 course lunch, followed by the formal presentations, after dinner guest speaker, a comedian, and concludes with a fund raising auction of football memorabilia. It's a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon! This year, our guest speaker will be Dave Watson, a defensive stalwart with a career spanning 21 years, including 419 appearances for Everton and 12 England caps. More entertainment will be provided by Liverpudlian comedian and broadcaster Willie Miller. The cost is £30 per head, and we will take individual bookings or bookings for a full table seating 10 people at £300.
The event usually sells out quickly, so if you want to attend please book early to avoid disappointment.
