MyRacecoursePROFILE180x180On Saturday it is our final home game of the regulation season and our My Racecourse game. We are asking supporters to come out and support the game to give us a good start on closing the financial gap introduced by our purchase of a 99 year on the Racecourse ground. Any income above our budgeted figure for this game will count towards our £200k target.

What will be taking place at the My Racecourse game?

The game will celebrate some great moments in the history of Wrexham AFC at the Racecourse Ground with a parade of former players and what is more iconic than the victory versus Arsenal? For the first time in front of our supporters Mickey Thomas will be recreating the goal versus Arsenal on the pitch at half time! In addition we will be recreating a souvenir programme in the style of the original Arsenal programme from all those years ago!

We will have music from the different Racecourse eras and Wrex the Dragon & Rockin Robin will be on hand to welcome supporters young and old as you enter the Ground (don’t forget your camera to get a shot of them!).

In addition we are encouraging fans to recreate the chant of ‘we shall not be moved’ to celebrate that the Racecourse is back under our control.

How can you help?

• Bring family, friends and colleagues to the match to cheer on the team in the last home game of the regular season
• Bring your flags from the #FlagDay event earlier in the season
• Use #MyRacecourse on social media
• Plan for this to be the game you travel to, if you live away from the area

The easiest way to reserve your seat is to save money by purchasing your ticket in advance online from the comfort of your own home via www.wafcshop2.wst.org.uk/match-travel-tickets.html.

Again thank you for your amazing support.
