Wrexham Supporters Trust are now seeking to add a further co-opted board member to help take the Trust and Club forward primarily with its community work.
The Board (which is the governing body of Wrexham AFC) consists mainly of elected board members with designated areas of responsibility together with several co-opted board members. A vacancy has arisen for a co-opted board member to take forward, with colleagues, one of the Trusts aims which is to enhance the social, cultural and economic value of the Club to its Communities.
Our work in the community was recently recognised by receipt of the Daily Post’s community business of year award and we now need another board member with leadership and communication skills to help us in this area.
The successful applicant will attend our board meetings and contribute to all areas of the Trusts work, with emphasis on the community aspect, as well as organising and overseeing our community work and events alongside other stakeholders.
This is a great opportunity to make an important contribution to the success of Wrexham AFC with the successful applicant being in post until next year’s AGM when all co-opted positions are reviewed.
The closing date for applications for this position is Friday 16th September 2016
Thanks to all those who applied for the co-opted board position (fundraising). We will be announcing the successful applicant(s) shortly.
