On Saturday 24th September the latest chapter of the ‘Cross Border Classico’ takes place at the Racecourse Ground as we welcome our nearest neighbours Chester FC to the Oldest International Stadium anywhere in the world.
Our last encounter here ended in a 3-0 triumph with ‘one of our own’ Robbie Evans scoring to seal the victory in emphatic manner.
The match kicks off at 12:15pm in a game that will be broadcast live on BT Sport and is a fantastic opportunity to showcase football here at the Racecourse Ground. So we’d love fans to pack out the stadium and back the team as we aim to keep our promotion bid firmly on track.
This game is ALL TICKET which means there won’t be any cash admission or ticket purchase on the day of the game so please plan to purchase your ticket asap. This is possibly the most eagerly awaited fixture on the calendar list at home versus our near neighbours so don’t miss out!
