We can confirm that our club membership database for 2016/17 has now been passed on to our printer and that club membership cards will start to be sent out directly by the printer. Due to the increase in the number of members paying by standing order this season, the numbers have happily increased which has in turn increased our workload.
There is a very small 'bug' in the system we have used (which also services the ticketing system) which means that a field in the database has to be manually set when a membership is purchased. It is not as simple as ticking a box, there is a process involved. We are addressing this with the system's supplier so it will be fine for next time and this is why it has taken longer than usual to get the data to our printer.
Once again, we apologise for the wait you have had to endure to receive your 2016/17 membership card and your patience is very much appreciated.
