As a dementia friendly community, Wrexham Football Club is hosting an awareness day at The Racecourse Ground on Wednesday May 17th. Join us in the Centenary Club from 1pm for a presentation from WST Chairman, Pete Jones. Pete will give his highly informative and entertaining talk about the history of our club. This will include a short guide on how Wrexham AFC have become a dementia friendly community, what work we have planned for us to retain our official status and information on how you can get involved in the national campaign to Unite Against Dementia.
The club is proud to be part of “Dementia Friendly Wrexham” which has recently seen their hard work rewarded with official recognition for its work to become dementia friendly. There will be many events around the town throughout the week so please keep an eye an out and show your support where you can.
