Wrexham AFC - 150 Years in 150 Seconds  Click Here

wafc oldWrexham Football Club is no ordinary football club. Founded in 1864, just one year after the Football Association first met and the Laws of the Game were first written, Wrexham is the third oldest professional football club in the world.

Over the years the team and its ever-loyal supporters have experienced together the joy of victory, the frustration of near success and the despair that follows defeat. The fans have cheered each time a goal has'hit the back of the opposing team's net. When Wrexham have been ahead, they have anxiously counted down those final, seemingly endless minutes of injury time before exploding with joy as the final whistle blows. They have never given up; even when all hope of victory has slipped away.

Wrexham fans have witnessed the highs and the lows that are the milestones in the story of every football club. This website details those milestones and includes additional information about those events in the history of the club and the Racecourse.Exeter City v Wrexham FC Cup Tie January 20th 1908-09 halfExeter City v Wrexham FC, Cup Tie, January 20th, 1908-09

WFC1864sigNid clwb cyffredin ydi Clwb Pêl-droed Wrecsam. Fe’i sefydlwyd ym 1864, prin flwyddyn ar ôl i'r Gymdeithas Bel-droed gyfarfod am y tro cyntaf er mwyn ysgrifennu Rheolau’r Gêm, sy’n golygu mai Wrecsam yw’r trydydd clwb hynnaf yn y byd.

Dros y blynyddoedd mae'r clwb a'i gefnogwyr ffyddlon wedi profi'r gorfoledd o fuddugoliaethau, y rhwystredigaethau o foddi wrth y lan ac yur anobaith sy’n dilyn pob colled. Mae'r cefnogwyr wedi bloeddio cymeradwyaeth pob tro mae pêl yn taro cefn rhwyd y gwrthwynebwyr. Gyda’r tîm ar y blaen, mae’r cefnogwyr wedi bod ar bigau’r drain wrth gyfri’r eiliadau di-ddiwedd o amser sy’n cael ei ganiatáu am anafiadau cyn bloeddio ochenaid o ryddhad a gorfoledd ar y chwiban olaf. ‘Dyw’r cefnogwyr erioed wedi rhoi’r ffidil yn y to; hyd yn oed pan fod unrhyw obaith am fuddugoliaeth wedi hen fynd heibio.

Mae cefnogwyr Wrecsam wedi bod yn dyst i’r uchafbwyntiau a'r isafbwyntiau sy’n gerrig filltir yn hanes pob clwb pêl-droed. Mae’r wefan yma yn nodi’r cerrig milltir yma ac yn cynnwys gwybodaeth ychwanegol am y digwyddiadau a hanes y clwb a’r Cae Ras.

Os ydych yn credu ein bod wedi methu rhoi sylw i gêm holl bwysig, ystadegyn trawiadol, eiliad dyngedfennol neu stori gofiadwy, mae croeso i chi ddefnyddio'r bwrdd atgofion neu gallwch ychwanegu’ch cyfraniad at hanes Clwb Pêl-droed Wrecsam trwy ei e-bostio at  This email address is being protected from spambots.
