We\u2019ve finalised the new designs for your plastic membership card decorated with our new logo and typeface and the metal WST pin badge, which you\u2019ll receive when your membership renews. \u00a0You can then proudly display the fact that you are helping to safeguard the future of our Club, no matter who the future owners may be.<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
Racecourse Lease Update<\/strong>

We can confirm we are still waiting for the Club to make contact regrading the surrender of the Racecourse lease in exchange for covenants agreed by members in December 2023.

We were anticipating the approval of planning permission last month on revised Kop designs would be the starting point for communications, but we are yet to receive further correspondence.<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
Club Advisory Board<\/strong>

The Club, as one of the conditions of being a member of the English Football League (EFL), is required to have a democratically constituted Club Advisory Board (CAB).

The terms of reference presented by the Club do not meet the EFL\u2019s best practice. After working closely with the Football Supporters Association (FSA) we submitted new terms of reference to the Club and the board of the Wrexham Supporters Federation.

We are delighted to confirm that the Club is meeting with the FSA in May with a view to have a new framework in place by June 30th.<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
Football Governance Bill<\/strong>

The Football Governance Bill, which is currently being debated in Parliament, will establish a new Independent Football Regulator (IFR) for English men\u2019s elite football. A Shadow Football Regulator has been set up to undertake preparatory work ahead of the IFR being established.

As part of this, the Regulator has asked a sample of Supporters\u2019 Trusts and Fan Advisory Boards across the top five divisions to take part in an information gathering exercise on fan engagement.

WST has been selected to be part of this sample, and the Shadow Football Regulator team will be contacting us with a set of questions. A similar set of questions will also be sent to the Club and the CAB.<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
Community Shares and Loan Notes<\/strong>

We would like to ask that anyone still holding Loan Notes and\/or Community shares to please contact treasurer@wst.org.uk<\/a>\u00a0as we are in a position to pay you out in full.\u00a0\u00a0There is no interest payable on these, nor can we issue any dividends.<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
