WST welcomes the announcement by the Club that a democratically elected Fan Advisory Board will take the place of the Club Advisory Board which will be disbanded. <\/p>\r\n

 <\/p>\r\n

The Club worked closely with the Football Supporters Association (FSA) and have produced a terms of reference that meets the FSA best practice and EFL guidelines. These new terms are broadly in line with those the Trust submitted in April so we welcome the new structure which means we have retained our two places on the new board.<\/p>\r\n

 <\/p>\r\n

New design membership cards and metal WST pin badges are being sent out to all members and most should already have been delivered. Please contact Brian Phillips on treasurer@wst.org.uk<\/a> if you are yet to receive your new membership pack.<\/p>\r\n

 <\/p>\r\n

In preparation for the new The Football Governance Bill – The Shadow Football Regulator has asked a sample of Supporters\u2019 Trusts and Fan Advisory Boards across the top five divisions to take part in an information gathering exercise on fan engagement. We can confirm that WST has submitted our response.  We are also pleased to report that we have left the FSA League 1 & 2 Network and have been elected to the FSA Championship Network. <\/p>\r\n

 <\/p>\r\n

The dramatic decline in physical post received by the Trust has meant that the \u00a3500 annual fee we pay for a FreePost account results in each letter we receive over \u00a347 each. We have therefore cancelled this service with immediate effect, meaning the FREEPOST WST address is no longer active.<\/p>\r\n

 <\/p>\r\n

A few members have contacted us regarding the status of the Racecourse lease and covenants. We have had no further correspondence from the Club on this matter, but we do expect this to change over the summer in view of the works underway at the Racecourse. We will keep members updated of any developments.<\/p>\r\n

Don\u2019t forget that it\u2019s our AGM on Monday June 23rd.  You can either join live on Teams or attend in person at Hill St Social, Hill St, Wrexham LL11 1SN. We will be sending out official notices next week.<\/p>\r\n
