This statement is in response to concerned member inquires regards recent claims that Geoff Moss offered Wrexham Supporters Trust (WST) shares in Wrexham FC.

As outlined in previous Trust newsletters one whilst in admin in summer 2006 and the other spring 2008 two separate preliminary talks took place between the Football Club and the WST, concerning a form of unsecured loan.  On both occasions, the Trust officially proposed to the Club in writing, that this be linked to a share purchase as per our mandate.

On the first occasion the Trust never received any response or acknowledgement from the Club and on the second occasion the Trust were instead challenged to gift their money and Mr Moss would match it personally.  The Trust declined this offer [1] which resulted in Mr Moss issuing a later press statement [2] stating he was washing his hands of the Trust due to their mandate to buy equity.

The Trust has to refute the share offer claim and explicitly state that at no point has it been offered any shares in Wrexham FC.

We hope this will put an end to this matter once and for all.
