Wrexham Supporters Trust Governing Body -  Co-Opted Positions

As you can see from the Governing Body re-structuring, we still have two vacancies. They are for the following sub-groups; Community Football Club and Fans Ownership.

We would like to invite members who would be willing to give up their spare time in helping to contribute to either of these roles, and to join the Governing Body as a co-opted member.

You will be required to work as a team to deliver our aims and objectives;  sign the Governing Body Members code of conduct; attend monthly Governing Body meetings; as well as any other meetings that you maybe required to attend through the group that you are involved with.

Under our new Strategic Plan (Our Plan Ein Cynllun 2014-2017) which was presented in draft form to the AGM, working in the Community Football Club sub-group would involve  the co-ordination of community events of the football club; encouraging and registering volunteers; organising Junior Dragon and Youth events; Disabled Supporters Association; working with community groups including our charity partners such as the Alzheimers Society; Autism Wishes and other charities, plus the administrative work that goes with it.

The Fans Ownership group will involve supporting the membership administration; seeking further membership benefits for adults, Junior Dragons and Youth members; preparing the communication plan and increasing membership. This group will also support the wider fans-ownership and Supporters Trust movements.

If any members are interested in being co-opted on to the new Governing Body of the Supporters Trust then please can you inform the secretary of your interest and state which group that you would like to work in by emailing This email address is being protected from spambots.
