mcmillanThis Friday, the 26th of September sees the world's biggest coffee morning in aid of MacMillan Cancer Support. Wrexham football club and the Governing Body will be hosting the event at Collier's Park, the Wrexham FC training ground in Gresford. Kettles will be boiling from 09:30 and will be bubbling away until 12:00.

Cancer is the toughest fight most of us will ever face. And as treatments improve, more and more people are living with cancer in their daily lives. The money raised at the coffee morning will help make sure no one has to face cancer alone, from the moment they're diagnosed, through treatment and beyond.

Stuart Roberts from the WST Community group stated; "The coffee morning is fully supported by Wrexham manager Kevin Wilkin and he is giving you the opportunity to watch him prepare the team for the Eastleigh match on Saturday. Who knows, they may even fancy a brew after training??"

Highlighting Wrexham football club's community links, Stan's Superstore are supporting the event by providing the coffee, tea, milk and sugar. This means that every penny raised will be donated directly to MacMillan Cancer Support!!

So why not pop down to Collier's Park on Friday morning and support this worthwhile initiative?
