Date of Fixture and Ticket Prices 

The match is confirmed at the Britannia Stadium, Stoke, for Sunday 4th January 2015, with a 3pm kick-off. The match is not being televised - but Wrexham Player will be there to record it all for subscribers. (check before final release)

Tickets will be priced as follows:

Adults - £15

Over 65 / Under 17 - £5

We will receive just over 4,300 tickets for the forthcoming fixture versus Stoke City for the whole of the Marstons Pedigree Stand. We anticipate the demand for tickets will be extremely high and fully expect to sell all of the allocation for Wrexham fans. We considered many options on how best to fairly distribute tickets and settled on rewarding our most loyal supporters as our primary objective. 

Ticket Sales - How to Buy

We expect ticket sales to be very busy during this period as well as it being a crucial Christmas trading period, and we urge all fans to use the Club website to purchase their tickets or Club memberships wherever possible. Please also opt for tickets to be posted rather than collected if possible. There will be no ticket sales by phone or from the Eagles Meadow shop. Ticket sales/collections will be possible from the Club shop as detailed below. Payment will be by cash/card only. We will be unable to replace any lost tickets.

Please note that Club Memberships can only be bought online for the next week or so, to reduce transaction times in the shop. This means you can not buy or renew memberships in the Club shop until after Christmas.

We will be increasing the numbers of staff and volunteers during this period. We thank you for your understanding and ask for your patience and co-operation with our club staff over what is an extremely busy Christmas period with 4 games and 2 retail outlets to manage. 

Ticket Sales - The Phases

As a fans-owned football club, Club Members [our co-owners and shareholders] and Season Ticket holders have been identified as having priority - and will have the opportunity for a limited period [as set out below] to purchase one ticket per person. Following the end of this restricted purchase period, any remaining tickets will go on general sale. Season ticket holders will be guaranteed a ticket if they wish to purchase one, whilst Club Members will have priority access until the end of phase 1 or until all tickets are sold if this is earlier.

Phase 1: Club (Trust) Members & Season Ticket holders - Shop and online ticket sales commence on Tuesday 16th December at 4pm (before the FA Trophy replay and will continue until kick off as with usual evening home games) until 1pm on Saturday 20th December (the day of the Dartford home game). The shop opens 10am to 4pm Monday to Friday, but will be open from 9am on Saturday 20th only for ticket sales before the Dartford match.

Non-members will be able to become Club Members before or during Phase 1 to gain priority access along with Season Ticket holders (who are guaranteed a ticket, even if not Club members). Memberships bought online will activate immediate access to Phase 1 tickets. If you buy a membership from the Club shop at the same time as your match tickets, you must complete the form in advance to avoid delays at the counter.

Phase 2: General sales will commence at the Club Shop only following the final whistle at the Dartford game on Saturday 20th December until the queue ceases, and will continue until all tickets are sold, or close of business on 23rd December. There will be no online sales in Phase 2 to enable us to service all fans in the queue at the Club SHop after the Dartford game.

Extended Club Shop Opening Times


Club Shop opening times at the Cae Ras this week have been extended as follows:

      • Thursday 18th 10am until 4pm [no further additions to the queue after 4pm and we will stay open until we’ve serve everyone in the queue at that time.]

      • Friday 19th  10am until 7pm [no further additions to the queue after 7pm and we will stay open until we’ve serve everyone in the queue at that time.]

      • Saturday 20th 9am until 1pm - when Phase 1 (priority) sales close.

      • Final whistle at the Dartford game on Saturday 20th until the queue has been cleared - start of Phase 2 (general release). No requirement to be a Club Member or Season Ticket holder in this phase.

      • Normal shop opening times (10-4) on Monday 22nd, and Tuesday 23rd, when Phase 2 closes. Please note that if all tickets have been sold earlier, then Phase 2 will close at that point.


Seating at the Britannia Stadium

Tickets will be for allocated seats only at Stoke, due to safety regulations.  For this reason we considered allowing season ticket holders or club members to purchase 2 tickets each. However as we are allocated just over 4,300 tickets, this could leave us in a position whereby some members of those two groups could be disappointed, so was not pursued. Details further below set out how groups/families can ensure they sit together. This will involve purchasing your tickets (online or at the shop) on the same day - so please think about this now in order to be prepared.

Disabled Fans

Please can any fans with wheelchairs or ambulant fans with carers who wish to purchase tickets contact Diann Mitchell or the Disabled Supporters Association via This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it., as soon as possible. This will enable us to ensure that we have enough seating provided at the Britannia Stadium and can arrange transport.

Club Travel

There are major engineering works scheduled for the weekend of 3rd/4th January 2015 in the Crewe area, with trains ceasing at Crewe and a bus replacement service to Stoke. Please expect long delays and inconvenience if you travel to the game by train. We would urge you to use the coach travel arranged by the Club to overcome these difficulties.

The Club will be organising return coach travel to the ground for £11 (CLub Members) £9 (Junior Dragons) and £13 for non-members. Pick-up points are shown below. Coach travel can be purchased online at the same time as tickets/membership.

Frequently Asked Questions

We have tried to provide as much information as we can in the briefing above - below we answer some frequently asked questions.

Why are Club Members and Season Ticket holders given priority?

As a fans-owned club, we have worked hard to extend the range of benefits that co-owning the Club brings. This includes priority access for Cup Games. Season ticket holders are guaranteed a ticket if they wish to purchase one, whilst Club members have priority access during the first phase of sales until the end of the phase, or until all tickets are sold if this is earlier. Once this phase is complete, any remaining tickets go on general sale. 

If some season ticket holders do not buy a ticket, then their reserved tickets will be returned to the pool prior to the general sales commencing.

Can I still become a Club member to gain priority access?

Yes. Provided you have completed the checkout process online first, your account will be immediately updated to allow access to Phase 1 ticket sales online. You can buy membership here now, from as little as £12 a year.

You can also join in the Club shop at the same time as you buy a ticket - but must arrive at the desk with a completed membership form to avoid long delays at the counter. Membership cards will be issued at a later date.

Do I have to be a Club Member to buy a ticket? 

No. Being a member gives you priority access to Phase 1 sales. However, any remaining tickets after the final whistle for the Dartford game will go on general sale. Even with an increase in members nd a guarantee for season ticket holders, we expect there will be tickets for all of these in Phase 1 and remaining tickets to be offered on general sale in Phase 2.

Why not have a voucher system for a home game instead?

We listened to the calls from fans to maximise revenue, with many fans calling for a voucher scheme at a forthcoming fixture to boost attendance at the game. However, as we are restricted to just over 4,000 seats, after considering season ticket holders and club members, adopting this approach could leave us in a position that someone with a voucher may not get a ticket. We did not think this was fair.

Do I have to sit in my allocated seat?

Yes, due to safety regulations at the Britannia Stadium.

As we expect to sell our entire ticket allocation for this stand, Please assist the stewards and your fellow fans by sitting only in your allocated seat. 

How do I buy Wrexham AFC tickets, Club memberships and coach travel online?
If having read these notes, you are having problems (for example have two accounts on the same email address), please email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. and we will try to help. Whilst we expect demand to be high for theese tickets and to sell our full allocation, there will be plenty of time in Phase 1 to sort out any ticketting/account issues you may have, and we do expect some tickets to be available on general release after the Dartford game as well.

To buy tickets, you will need to have an account on the system, and be logged into your account.
Non-members/non-ST holders can just register for a new account, by clicking "Sign in" and then filling out the Create New Account details, or you can do this at the checkout when you buy your first tickets. You will not be able to see/purchase tickets that are restricted to Club Members/Season Ticket holders until they are on general sale in Phase 2.
Existing Club Members
For existing members/ST holders you will need to login using your registered email address or membership number and password. For first time users, you have to click on the “Returning customer, but no password yet?” link. The system will then send you a validation e-mail to setup your online account – you can then log in and buy your ticket.
If you have forgotten your password, click on the “Forgotten Password” link and follow the process – then login with the new details.
New members
If you purchase a Club membership online, your account details will be emailed to you when you complete the checkout process. You can then login with these and proceed as above for existing members, to purchase tickets in a second transaction.

To help avoid problems logging in to purchase tickets, we recommend you purchase only one membership in one transaction - eg if a parent and a child are joining together, make two transactions. Doing this separately (and also using different email addresses) will ensure you have separate confirmation emails and separate accounts. We apologise that this is a bit inconvenient - but it is necessary to ensure that we can restrict ticket sales in Phase 1 to one per person. As we have just over 4,300 tickets to sell, we felt it was fairer to all fans to restrict sales to one per person initially, rather than risk some season ticket holders and members not being able to buy a ticket or not having any for general sale.

 How can I ensure families/groups of fans can be seated together?
Because fans will be required to sit in allocated seats, and because Club Members/Season Ticket Holders are restricted to one ticket per person in Phase 1, we have had to develop a system to enable groups/families of fans to sit together, but purchase tickets individually.
This may seem a little cumbersome, but if we had unreserved seating, we would have to reduce our seat allocation by around 10% for safety reasons – therefore for a little extra effort, we can ensure that more Wrexham fans can enjoy this game.
We will group together tickets purchased on the same day (whether online or in the shop) – therefore you should buy them on the same day if you wish to sit together. 
  1. A group needs to nominate a lead member who buys their own ticket first as normal, and selects a delivery/collection option.
  2. Subsequent members of the group purchase their tickets the same day and select “Group Mailing” as the delivery option. You must then change the delivery address to that of the lead member.
  3. The ticket office will then group together all tickets purchased on the same day to the same address. Only one payment for postage will be taken (for the lead member).
Please note that if you select “ticket collection” your tickets will not be available on the day of ordering to allow the Ticket Office staff sufficient time to process the order and group tickets together.
For shop sales, the lead member can bring membership cards/details for multiple members of the group, or individual purchasers can nominate a lead member when they purchase tickets to ensure tickets are grouped together.
Buying online / email account issues / new memberships

Wrexham-FC-150-smallMost online sales have gone very smoothly. However, a small number of fans have had difficulty.
 We are sorry about this. The main difficulty is the restriction of ticket sales in Phase 1 to one per Club Member/Season Ticket Holder's account, and where members share an email address (eg in families). Online accounts must have unique email addresses.

If you already have an account on the Wrexham AFC ticket website (here) which is linked to your Club Membership or Season Ticket, just log in and purchase your ticket.

If you are buying a new club membership for someone else - please make sure you use a different email address for each membership you buy. This is very important! You can then log into each account to buy one ticket - and then group them as described in the guidance.

If you are already members/Season Ticket holders and share an email address, please email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. with details of separate email addresses you can use for each account. We will then attach these to your records and you can then purchase tickets, one per account. This includes children.

If you already have an account (perhaps you have bought tickets previously) but have only just bought a Club Membership whilst logged into this account, your details are updated automatically on the system. Once you have completed the checkout process for your membership, you will be able to purchase Phase 1 tickets.
