The following message is from the Club Membership Group of the WST:
"We apologise but due to problems with with our membership system, the issuing of membership cards has been delayed. We are working to resolve the problem and hope to get all membership cards issued in the next 2-3 weeks"
Basically there is a very small 'bug' in the system we have used (which also services the ticketing system) which means that a field in the database has to be manually set when a membership is purchased. It is not as simple as ticking a box, there is a process involved. We are addressing this with the system's supplier,so it will be fine next time,but in the mean time, the process has to be performed manually, and we are working on this.
Given the issue with the printers and the season tickets,we seem to have the perfect storm, and our resources are stretched. However, should you need to use your membership for any reason, you will have a membership number on your confirmation email, that will suffice for any current reasons or usage.
