CLUB NEWS | Financial Statements for year ending 30th June 2019

Wrexham AFC Limited is pleased to publish our financial statements for the year ending 30th June 2019.

Gate receipts increased to £1.1 million for the season in review and by 19% over the prior season.

This was as a result of a positive start to the season that resulted in an overall average attendance in excess of 5,000.

Gate receipts are the main proportion of our budgeted income but there was also an increase in our sponsorship and advertising income.

Due to one off transfer fee income, the overall profit for the financial year was £750,000 but it can be seen from the Balance Sheet and Cash Flow Statement that not all of the cash was received as at the year end.

The Balance Sheet at 30th June 2019 shows that cash at bank and in hand was similar to the previous financial year but net current assets improved by £724,000 and investment by Wrexham Supporters Trust had increased to £1,057,508.

Further to our announcement on Thursday regarding C-19 we have provisionally set the date for the eighth Annual General Meeting for Wednesday, 25th March 2020, with a start time of 7:30pm.

We are having to factor in the availability of the stadium as we currently have a midweek match against Torquay United on the previous Tuesday and the Racecourse is unavailable on the Thursday and Friday for the scheduled Wales Under 21 international against Moldova.

The plan is to still hold the AGM on the Wednesday but we will continue to monitor and update Members of any changes based on Government guidance.
