Freddie Pritchard was a little boy who played for Gresford Athletic Junior FC under 9 team who sadly passed away in Sept 2024, his parents Cerys and Wayne Pritchard presented the cup to the winners on Friday 17th April 2026 at the Wrexham and District Junior Football League Cup Finals held at Queensway Stadium in Wrexham

The WST congratulate all who competed in the cup competitions and are excited by the stars of the future.
Shares update
To date the Trust has refunded £163,000 out of the £187,000 originally raised through the loan note and community share schemes.
Two of the latest to redeem their shares are Wrexham Supporters Association and Vale of Clwyd Reds who have both agreed that their £1,000 of shares refund should be donated to the Wrexham & District Junior Football League.
This £2,000 is in addition to the £1,750 sponsorship from WST and £1,250 from London Reds.
