| We are delighted to announce that we have reached agreement with the football club for WST to hold legally binding covenants that secures the Racecourse Ground as the home of Wrexham AFC until 2115. The agreement will see legally binding covenants replace the existing lease structure in place that was agreed by members in December 2023. We would like to thank our legal advisors, Taylor Wessing, for their assistance in negotiating the covenants on behalf of existing and future Wrexham supporters for generations to come. The agreement is subject to approval from Wrexham County Borough Council and The Football Stadia Improvement Fund Limited. It is not anticipated that either of these parties will delay this process. We can also confirm that we have submitted the rule changes approved by members to the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). These rule changes will place the final decision on the Racecourse Ground as the home of Wrexham AFC with the supporters. We anticipate confirmation from the FCA in the New Year. |
